What is Little Gigs?
Founded in 2013, Little Gigs has grown into a leading platform for nurturing and showcasing young talent.
We recognised early on that as more children display remarkable musical and artistic abilities, there was a growing need for specialised support to help them reach their full potential. Our performance training programs are designed to fill this gap, providing young performers with the tools and confidence they need to stand out.
About Founder, Coral O’Malley
Music has been a cornerstone of my life since I was just five years old. My journey took me from studying music composition at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) along with learning Artist Management at the Australian Institute of Music (AIM).
Over the years, my dedication to nurturing young talent has only deepened. I am driven by a mission to help children not only excel in their craft but to truly shine in every performance.
With extensive experience in the corporate world, coupled with my current roles as an Artist Manager & President of the Utassy Ballet, and Vice President of the Nunawading Arts Inc Board, I’ve honed my skills in guiding and managing emerging talent. From small to large gigs, I also crew backstage on events such as Taylor Swift, Pink and more!
Little Gigs was born from my deep-seated desire to see talented children recognised for their abilities. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching a child’s face light up as they take the stage and captivate an audience.

Who is Little Gigs For?
We train and support children between the ages of 5-13 who are involved in performing arts and wish to develop confidence to perform. Students who have trained with us and been booked for events include:
- Solo musicians
- String quartets
- Street performers
- Dancers
We offer a range of performance training programs, from our popular busking sessions to our comprehensive artist management services. In addition, we’ve expanded our offerings to include an online self-guided course program and virtual coaching for audition training, making our expertise accessible to young performers everywhere.
Proud Achievements
Today, Little Gigs is recognised as the premier provider of enchanting young performers for exclusive venues, corporate events, charities, and private functions across Melbourne and beyond.
One of our most recent achievements has been the development of a partnership with Awards Australia to introduce the Channel 7 ‘Little Victorians Achiever Award,’ celebrating the incredible achievements of young children across the state.
